In Thursday’s high school senior girls basketball final, the Holy Trinity Titans brought their best defence to the court, hosting the Delhi Raiders in a high-stakes showdown. Both teams were relentless, focusing on forcing tough shots and denying rebounds—a true test of grit and strategy.
The Titans took an early lead and never looked back, maintaining their edge over the Raiders, who fought hard to keep up, but couldn’t overcome the Titans’ stronghold. In the end, Holy Trinity secured their fourth consecutive championship with a 26-20 victory.
For Titans’ senior #10 Maeve Suprun, this win capped an undefeated high school career.
The Raiders and Titans have been rivals all year and head coach Nick Flynn has respect for their rivalry with Delhi.
Flynn was very happy with his team’s effort in the final and there hard work throughout the season.
Holy Trinity is now setting their sights on success in the upcoming C.W.O.S.S.A. qualifiers. Following the game in true basketball fashion the senior Titans cut down the net and celebrated with fellow students, family and friends.
