Costco is set this week to open its first warehouse outlet in Brantford.
But it’s not just any Costco warehouse.
The Brantford location will be the first in Ontario to host a sushi department.
It will also feature 24 gas pumps, 813 parking spots and a range of alcoholic beverages.
The Brantford warehouse is expected to create 180 permanent and 80 seasonal jobs, according to Costco Wholesale.
The grand opening is this 6:30 a.m. this Friday and the public is invited to experience the new Costco warehouse beginning at 7 a.m.
It’s located at 175 Roy Boulevard, off Wayne Gretzky Parkway, next to the Lynden Park Mall.
