
Two Oshawa men face charges after a home invasion in Simcoe, while a third suspect remains on the run. Just before 11p.m. on October 13th, the OPP responded to reports of a break-in on Grove Street. Three suspects allegedly entered the home, confronting seven occupants, some of whom suffered minor injuries. The suspects, reportedly armed, fled in a red sedan.
Following an investigation, Norfolk County OPP executed a search warrant on Lockie Drive in Oshawa on October 17th. Officers arrested two suspects, 24-year-old Akhil Krishnan and 26-year-old Ambady Sajeev, seizing a replica firearm and the red sedan.
Both suspects face multiple charges, including assault, forcible confinement, and unauthorized firearm possession. They remain in custody and are set to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe today. Police continue to search for the third suspect, described as a heavy-set male.
