A retirement home in Norwich says a lack of funds is forcing it to close in November. Trillium Care says the closure is due to – quote – “an emergency lack of financial resources necessary to sustain daily operations.”
According to the CBC, an email was sent to families last Friday alerting them the facility will be permanently closing its doors due to lack of funding and calling the situation – quote – “urgent and unexpected.”
The closure is effective November 11th.
Trillium Care says Ontario Health at Home can assist residents in finding new accommodations and services.
