The long weekend is almost here, and with that, expect closures around Norfolk County.
All county owned buildings, from the pool to the library to the administration building, will be closed Monday.
The Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre will resume regular programming on Wednesday, October 16 and the Simcoe Recreation Centre and Simcoe Seniors’ Centre will re-open on Thursday, October 17, with the exception of the Multipurpose Floor which will re-open on Friday, October 18. All other Recreation facilities including arenas, will only be closed on Monday, October 14, returning to regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.
Ride Norfolk will not be running on Monday as well.
Waste collection will be delayed one day throughout the week, except in Simcoe.
Residents in Waterford are reminded to have their waste/recycling to the curb by 7 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, as additional trucks will be in the area prior to the Pumpkinfest Parade.
