Norfolk County is starting a Facilities Master Plan to enhance the management and use of its buildings and spaces. This plan will evaluate over 90 facilities, including administrative, cultural, recreational, and emergency buildings. It aims to optimize resources, improve functionality, and foster community engagement.
Residents are encouraged to participate by sharing their opinions through an online survey, open until October 15, 2024. There will also be two in-person open house events where community members can provide feedback:
– Port Dover Open House: September 23, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Port Dover Lions Community Centre.
– Langton Open House: September 26, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 28 Albert Street, Langton.
The Facilities Master Plan will be presented to the Council in 2025, incorporating feedback to shape recommendations and a phased implementation strategy. For more information, visit engageNorfolk.ca.
