Doug Ford is being criticized for a joke he made about sending human patients to a new animal hospital.
The Premier made that joke at a new veterinary facility north of Toronto.
Liberal Health Critic Adil Shamji held a press conference and addressed this, noting the many Ontarians who have died waiting for these scans and surgeries.
The NDP, meanwhile, released this statement:
A spokesperson for the premier says the joke was referring to the size of the 60-thousand square foot animal hospital.
