Dairy Queen Canada and SickKids Hospital are encouraging Simcoe residents to participate in Miracle Treat Day by purchasing a Blizzard on August 8th to help improve the lives of local children. Net proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold will be donated to SickKids Hospital, benefiting children receiving healthcare treatment.
Returning for its 22nd year on Thursday, August 8th, Miracle Treat Day offers DQ fans in Simcoe the chance to support local children in need through the simple act of buying a Blizzard Treat at their local Dairy Queen. The funds raised locally will stay local, with net proceeds from every Blizzard sold at participating DQ locations going to the SickKids Foundation, part of the Children’s Miracle Network hospital foundations across Canada.
This year, DQ Canada celebrates the 40th anniversary of its partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network. Since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised over $52 million in Canada through Miracle Treat Day and other year-round fundraising initiatives. Every dollar donated from DQ stores supports medical research, innovative treatments, child-centered healing spaces, and more.
