The Lighthouse Festival is excited to announce its production of “The Sweet Delilah Swim Club,” a beloved play by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten. This heartwarming and humorous production is currently being staged in Port Dover until August 10th. The play follows five women whose friendship began on their college swim team and spans several decades, showcasing their enduring bond and the challenges they face together.
Directed by the incoming Lighthouse Festival Artistic Director Jane Spence, the play features an ensemble of accomplished actors, including Debra Hale, Andrea Risk, Susan Henley, Susan JohnstonCollins, and Jane Miller. Each actress brings a unique perspective to their character, highlighting themes of sisterhood and female empowerment.
