Brandon Montour is bringing the Stanley Cup to Six Nations on Wednesday, July 24. The event runs from 1 pm to 4 pm, featuring a parade from Ohsweken Speedway to the Six Nations Sports and Culture Memorial Arena.
At the arena, Montour will receive the Six Nations Honourary Ronateríhonte (Leader) Award and present the Stanley Cup to the public. With thousands of fans expected, attendees are advised that the event will end promptly at 4 pm.
Chief Sherri-Lyn Hill expressed pride in Montour’s achievements, calling the celebration historic for the community.
Road closures will be in effect from 5th Line to 4th Line and Chiefswood Road, extending to Lawrence Jonathan Lane, with an emergency lane open. Guests are encouraged to carpool and avoid roadside parking.
