The Ontario School Library Association is worried libraries will be left behind with recent changes by the Ministry of Education.
OSLA President Wendy Burch Jones put it bluntly.
She adds not only is that funding gone, but so is the accountability that came with it.
Burch Jones says the loss of school libraries means the loss of students using their voice.
The OSLA are in talks with NDP Leader Marit Stiles to present a petition to Queens Park in hopes of sparking change.
