
It may not have been ideal weather, but the first Pride Day in Norfolk County took place on Saturday.
The rain poured down hard for portions of the event, but many people gathered under tents and waited it out.
When the rain started to lighten up, the crowds did return, marking the first time Pride Haldimand Norfolk was able to host an event in the community after hosting it in Haldimand for several years.
On Sunday, the MS Walk took place in Simcoe.
A large crowd showed up, many sporting their blue shirts, talking around the area.
To coincide with this, Norfolk County recognized Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month last week by raising the flag for MS Canada – Grand Erie Chapter.
