It is Mental Health Week and Abel Enterprises is looking to SMASH some fundraising records to better support those in need in our community.
That was Community FUNdraiser Robynn Beazley.
Businesses and groups are booking space now for the popular SMASH room, which Abel has been bringing to events across Norfolk as a fundraising activity.
On top of renting out the SMASH room this week, they are also planning a community event for Thursday with a Fun Fair.
That fun fair runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Concessions and the SMASH Room will have prices connected to it, of course.
But Beazley wanted the community know the cost you pay for that popcorn or to go smash a TV is going towards a great cause.
A portion of the money will also go to programs and outings with the group as well.
Beazley said the most popular demographic for the SMASH room is not young men, which they initially thought when they launched the idea, but rather younger women – especially moms.
You must be over 16-years-old to enter the SMASH room.
