It’s time to get revved up for Holy Trinity’s Truck, Tractor, Car & Motorcycle show that’s racing towards us!
The annual show will take place on Friday, May 17th from 9:00am to 3:00pm with proceeds going to support the United Way.
The show has a number of categories to win prizes in, including:
Car – (Classic/Modern Muscle/Import-Tuner)
Truck – (Classic/Muscle/4X4)
Tractor – (Antique/Modern)
Motorcycle – (Offroad/Sport/Cruiser)
We spoke to auto teacher Clark Chernak and his student teacher Neil Vukosa about the upcoming show and the types of vehicles that will be there.
Technical courses have declined in many schools, due to funding and the difficulty of having qualified staff. However, Chernak said when it can be offered it’s popular.
Vukosa emphasized how important and valuable courses like these are, regardless of their future careers.
The car show teams up with the local fire department, police, Crimestoppers and MADD Canada.
Chernak is anticipating more than 100 vehicles at the event. There is a $10 entry fee and all cars in the show must be approved before hand. To register your vehicle contact Clark Chernak at 519-410-2711.
