The county has once again declared how much money our elected officials made in 2023 along with other expenses.
As one would guess, Mayor Amy Martin racked up the highest bill getting paid over $87,000 for her base salary.
Over $14,500 went to employment benefits for Martin, and over $5000 was used for conferences and other expenses.
All other councillors were close in base salary, from $38K to $39K depending on if they served as deputy Mayor, but other factors changed their totals such as benefits, mileages, and conferences.
Councillor Doug Brunton came in lowest when all those factors were added together for a total that is just over $40K while Tom Masschaele saw the highest amount with over $48K.
