The Norfolk Literary Prize Writing contest is officially underway!
That was Norfolk County Public Library’s Virtual Library Coordinator Belinda Smith, speaking at the launch of the writing contest.
She went over a few of the rules as well regarding short stories.
Smith added that these writings must be submitted online and anonymously.
Full rules can be found online.
Deadline for submission is Wednesday, July 31st.
During the kick start of the contest, the library also brought back guest speaker and author Cher Obediah.
She helped launch the 2023 contest and was a speaker during the award ceremonies last year as well.

2024 Norfolk Literary Prize Launch Event
