A big win for a local hockey team.
The U11 Simcoe Warriors – Finamore team came home victorious from the Families First tournament in Windsor this weekend.
The team had two wins and a tie before heading into the Semi-finals on Sunday against St Thomas, winning 3-2 with an OT goal.
The Warriors played well in the finals, winning 6-0 over Strathroy to take home the gold.
