You’ve heard of a walk-in clinic but how about a TALK-IN CLINIC?
Norfolk County has one now, and the Executive Director of the Norfolk Family Health Team, Roxanne Pierssens-Silva lets us know a bit more about it.
Roxanne says since there is a mental health clinic at Reach for those 18 and under already, this clinic is for those 18 plus and it’s free.
She says it was clear there was a need for this talk-in clinic.
The clinic is on the main floor of the Delhi Community Health Clinic and is open Wednesdays from 12pm to 8pm. Roxanne says it’s best to book an appointment although they can sometimes accommodate walk-ins. You can learn more on their website at norfolkfht.ca or by calling 519-582-2323 ext 232.
