In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, the Norfolk County Public Library is rallying the community as they look to encourage teens to become life-long library users.
Join them on November 28th, in the world’s largest giving movement as they look to raise funds to support their Teen Advisory Group, or “TAG.”
This is a team of 13 to 18-year-olds advising the Library’s leadership team on making it a welcoming space for teens. With input from TAG, donations will assist in the development of youth spaces and equipment for those spaces, as well as youth programming and collections.
Contrary to common belief, the library isn’t fully funded by taxes; it relies on donors to create these life-changing programs and welcoming spaces for all.
Help shape the future by contributing to TAG’s initiatives, visit your local Branch or go to ncpl.ca and download a donation form under Current Events.
