It’s a highly visible reminder of the need to help the less fortunate in our community. And if you spent some time out and about this past week, you’ll know that the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle campaign has officially kicked off in Norfolk County.
Kettle Coordinator Doug Montgomery is excited to back for 2023 as they look to raise some much needed funds for their local programs.
They have a big goal once again this year notes Montgomery and they need as much help as possible to make it successful.
And as Montgomery reminds, the Salvation Army has made it even easier to donate.
They’re about one week into the six-week campaign and Montgomery says they’re on pace.
Montgomery stressed that all money raised locally stays right here in Norfolk County, with a large portion used to fund their ongoing Christmas Hamper program.
The 2023 Salvation Army Christmas Kettle campaign will run through December 23rd.
