World Kindness Day is this coming Monday, and Open Doors in Simcoe is looking to spread some kindness in the community.
Open Doors runs programs in Simcoe for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and they want to highlight how kind the community of Norfolk.
We spoke to co-owner Kendra Pilon, who says they will be set up by the billboards near Wendy’s on Monday for people to stop by and take a photo with them as they hold their Kindness banner.
They will only be there for a limited time though, and the hope is they will be traveling around throughout the day going to local businesses who want to show their kindness.
She believes that businesses will jump on this opportunity as it shows staff and the community that they are a company who cares.
