Riversyde 83 officially had their big grand opening on Friday.
Having had a soft launch a few weeks back, the building which looks to be a hub for the community is now ready to welcome all.
That was Virginia Lucas of Church Out Serving talking about all the things available at Riversyde.
What makes all of that more special is, with these manner services and options available, the money you put in for a meal or to make use of something like the community kitchen goes a long way.
Food samples and music were on docket for the day following an official ribbon cutting ceremony.
Eric Haverkamp spoke about that ribbon cutting, and how important it was Riversyde 83.
Adele Haverkamp gave blessings over the opening as well, truly highlighting the journey it has been over these past few years.
Mayor Amy Martin was also on hand to highlight the importance of the event.
She noted it was a big win for Norfolk County and especially downtown Simcoe.
She also wanted to make note of the hard work put in as well.
