A family continues its quest for answers regarding a fatal collision in 2017.
On an October evening, Matt O’Donnell lost his life in a vehicle on Charlotteville West Quarter Line, and for years, questions about what happened have persisted.
Cheryl O’Donnell, Matt’s mother, recounting that tragic night over six years ago.
Initially, the police believed Matt was behind the wheel, but that’s no longer the case.
The family initiated a GoFundMe page, hoping a cash reward might encourage someone to come forward.
Cheryl mentioned that her son was deeply connected to the community, and she’s counting on those he touched to assist in the search for justice.
She stressed that any information, no matter how small, is crucial. They aim to piece together the puzzle, and one missing piece could make a significant difference.

The family hopes to raise as much money as possible, with a target of around $100,000, in the belief that it may prompt someone to step forward.
