The RCMP Musical Ride is officially here.
As part of its cross-Canada tour, the ride will be stopping at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds today for a performance at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The Musical Ride is a Canadian symbol of tradition, honour, and pride, and is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the RCMP.
A team of up to 32 riders, all RCMP members, and their horses demonstrate their equestrian skill through a variety of formations and cavalry drills set to music.
The stables will be open to the public all day from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. for visitors to meet the horses and riders, with the gates opening 30 minutes before showtime so people can find their seats.
The Paris Port Dover Pipe Band will perform to start the pre-show for both performances.
