OPP technology leads to another arrest in Norfolk.
A cruiser on patrol near Glendale Crescent on Saturday puled over a vehicle after the Automated Licence Plate Recognition system raised a red flag.
23-year-old Jacob Carlton of Norfolk County was charged with:
- Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code,
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance,
- Use plate not authorized for vehicle,
- Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner.
Police are looking to track down an SUV and a large camping trailer that was stolen.
Sometime between 2:30 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. on Saturday, someone attended a Main Street of Walsingham address and stole the combo.
