Nearly 70 wildfires are burning across northern Ontario.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says 26 of those fires are not under control.
Officials say there’s heavy smoke due to fires in the province and neighbouring Quebec, with smoke travelling as far as Timmins and south past Sudbury and Parry Sound.
Premier Doug Ford is urging residents in every region not to light camp fires at this time.
