A fatal incident involved an ATV in Dunnville.
Haldimand County OPP report that on Wednesday, a 79-year-old operator, of Haldimand County, and a 49-year-old passenger, of Hamilton, were travelling along Melick Road when the driver of the ATV lost control and struck tree ejecting both the driver and passenger.
As a result, the operator suffered serious life-threatening injuries while the passenger was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday, the driver of the ATV was pronounced deceased in hospital.
Speed and alcohol are being considered as contributing factors.
