Discussions regarding a large proposed development in Waterford took place at Norfolk County Council’s public hearing meeting earlier this week.
The Silos Of Waterford development is planned to have detached homes, townhouse units, and a 8-storey apartment building.
In total, they are looking at 16 homes, 76 townhouse dwelling units and 164 apartment units.
Waterford Councillor Kim Huffman and Mayor Amy Martin both went to social media telling residents to attend the meeting if they have any questions or concerns, and that they did.
After a presentation from G. Douglas Vallee Limited on behalf of the developers, the community was welcomed to the podium where they voiced their opinions both for and against the development.
Some of the hot topics included the need for more parking spaces, water capacity, and school capacities.
You can hear from multiple Waterford residents in the clips below.
