A Norfolk County man is facing several charges after police responded to reports of a person with a gun.
At around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a 911 call was placed to report a person with a firearm at a Queensway East address in Simcoe.
Police arrived on scene and took Mark Vernon Fess into custody and seized a CO2 air pistol.
As a result, the 32-year-old is facing charges of pointing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and failure to comply with a probation order.
