Hagersville is making lots of waves locally and far beyond as well.
Their local Lions have been running their Catch The Ace event for weeks now and the jackpot, and the excitement, is hitting a fever pitch.
We spoke to Tanya Ribbink, both a Lions member and a member of Hagersville Rock, as both groups are collaborating on this.
What started off as a fun local fundraiser quickly has turned into a weekly event.
You heard that right, you can come in and buy tickets and have a chance to walk away a millionaire.
Ribbink gives us the nuts and bolts on how it works.
Lady luck is in the air in Hagersville though, as Catch The Ace runs of the risk of going weeks or ending quickly.
Aside from the 20 per cent you could earn if you win, or the $1.2 million jackpot, charities win big as well.
Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20 and are sold in person at the Hagersville Legion (cash only) from 10:30 am – 7:30 pm today with the draw held at 8pm.
You do not need to be present to win.
