Mother nature is swooping in at the end of the week to play the spoil for Friday the 13th.
Snow is in the forecast for the first of two Friday the 13th’s in 2023 and, due to this, Norfolk County is encouraging everyone to exercise extreme caution on the road.
Although cold-weather events typically attract fewer numbers, visitors should be aware of increased traffic on the roads surrounding and in Port Dover.
Drivers and motorcyclists are reminded to obey the rules of the road and be patient while travelling to, from, and around Port Dover.
Unlike warm-weather events, this Friday the 13th will not see any road closures in effect.

The Kinsmen Club of Port Dover will be selling their shirts in the Elmer Lewis parking lot next to Lakeside Savings starting at 9 am on Friday only.
Sales are in person only, no online sales.
The Port Dover Legion and Gator at the Norfolk will have live entertainment on Thursday night. Please see their Facebook pages for full details.
Friday will have live entertainment at Gator at Norfolk all day and night upstairs along with the Brig down below starting at 9 pm.
The Legion will also have live music from 12-8 on Friday.
