The oldest international curling competition is making a stop in Simcoe.
The Strathcona Cup has been pitting Canada and Scotland against each other in the winter sport since 1902.
Every five year the event is held, with the 2018 games being held in Scotland.
This year, there are three tours taking place in Canada, with spots in the east, central, and western areas, with 20 Scottish curlers in each tour.
The Simcoe Curling Club says they are honoured to host the central group on Tuesday, January 17. The visitors will be arriving from London where they will have played the day before.
There will be four Simcoe teams that will compete in four games versus the Scots.
The curlers will then be travelling to Niagara Falls for more curling the next day.
