The new Norfolk County Council officially took their seats in the chambers on Tuesday night.
The procession was led in by piper Brad Smith, and the meeting was opened with the national anthem sung by Olivia Mae Graham.
After signing their declarations, Mayor Amy Martin and each member of council had a moment to address the community.

A common theme of looking forward to the future, knowing there is a lot of work ahead, and operating with respect for the other members at the table could be heard from each member of council.
This group will be serving in their roles from November 15, 2022, to November 14, 2026.
