Simcoe’s Gentlemen of Harmony brought home three pieces of hardware from the Ontario District Fall Convention.
Members Norm Jamont and Terry Pond stopped by the studio to talk about the awards.
The Gentlemen of Harmony is an acapella harmony group singing mostly in barbershop style, that has been around since 1956.
They are always looking for new members, as they currently have 40 and could have space for up to 100.
They said it is a very welcoming group, and that people often come for the music and stay for the people.
Speaking of music, the duo said you can hear just about anything with the group.
The Gentlemen of Harmony have their annual show this Saturday at Simcoe Composite School. There is one show at 2 p.m. and another at 7 p.m. with tickets available at the door.
