Registration is open for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper program.
Terri Simmons, Community & Family Services Manager, explained what the program is.
She said there are angel trees out in the community where people are able to donate gifts to, including Canadian Tire, Scotiabank in Port Dover, the Simcoe branch of Library, Simcoe Glass, Car Star, Real Estate Board, and Robinson Chevrolet Buick GMC Simcoe.
Volunteers are always needed.
Registration to receive a hamper is open until November 11 and can be done in the office at the Salvation Army between 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
