Hidden Gems Day presented by Breezewood Floors and Fanshawe College.
We are profiling Bird Canada’s birding trails and the Old Cut Research Station.
We spoke with Stuart Mackenzie, Director of Strategic Assets.
While those trails are ideal for “birders”, it is a place that any Norfolk County resident can appreciate.
That Research Facility is also a valuable asset to the community.
They were also happy to announce that this special place in our community has actually expanded.
That research facility is open until Mid-November before reopening in the Spring.
The Long Point Birding Trail also highlights 30 sites of significant nature in Norfolk, with all that information on their website.
