
Warrior Day is returning on Friday in Simcoe.
Soldiers from 56th Field Artillery Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery, will commemorate Warriors Day honouring the contributions of Simcoe citizens to war efforts in the 20th century.
Members of the public can expect minor traffic delays along Metcalfe Road from Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79 to the Simcoe Curling Club from 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m..
Members of the public may see soldiers carrying weapons and marching.
No live ammunition will be used at any time.
During the service, the general public is encouraged to attend the event in a spectator capacity.
For spectator safety, it is requested that members of the public refrain from obstructing or moving near to where the soldiers are carrying out their tasks.
