Tom Masschaele believes in representing his constituents.
That is why the incumbent of the Ward 1 seat is seeking re-election.
He wants to ensure all voices are heard and valued at the table.
He said he is proud of the work the current term of council has done, but believes there is more work to be done.
Those accomplishments he is proud of include the plans to solve the water supply issues, managing the pandemic, and improving the position of the reserve accounts.
Among those projects, he mentioned the high-speed internet project bringing service to Norfolk.
The life-long Norfolk County resident spent his career teaching law, history, and economics at local high schools.
The candidate said improving customer service and Norfolk County’s reputation are other issues he wants to address on the next term of council.
