Two Norfolk County residents are facing multiple charges following a robbery in Delhi.
In the early hours of August 25 the victim attended a Bell Street address where they were assaulted, threatened with a firearm, and had various items stolen.
As a result of the investigation, 40-year-old John William Baverstock and 43-year-old Patricia Elizabeth Carlton are both facing multiple charges.
Baverstock was charged with:
- Robbery while using firearm,
- Unauthorized possession weapon (two counts),
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose (two counts),
- Assault with a weapon,
- Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000,
- Assault,
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order (two counts),
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm (two counts),
- Forcible confinement,
- Disobey order of court (two counts),
- Operation while prohibited, and
- Fail to comply with probation order (four counts).
Carlton is facing fewer charges, which are:
- Forcible confinement,
- Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000, and
- Fail to comply with undertaking (two counts).
