Sadly, two deaths to report in Norfolk County over the past few days.
On Friday, officers were sent out to Mann Avenue in Simcoe after a 75-year-old was hit by a vehicle – passing away in the hospital the next day.
Then, on Sunday morning, police were sent out to a fatal incident in Windham where an individual, operating a tobacco harvester, was involved in an incident while harvesting.
As a result, the driver suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
Police have not released the name of the individuals involved in the fatal collision on Friday at this time.
The Ministry of Labour is now taking over investigation for the farm death.
