Norfolk County mayor Kristal Chopp has put her name into the race.
The incumbent has announced she will be running for mayor in the upcoming municipal election.
Other names in the mayoral race include current Ward 6 councillor Amy Martin, Ward 5 councillor Ian Rabbitts, and David Bate.
