Valley Heights Secondary School is celebrating a special anniversary.
The school is putting together a 50th +1 anniversary celebration to get the entire school family together.
Current principal, Alison High, talks about the events taking place at the Langton school.
There is a full day worth of activities planned out.
During the wine and cheese there will be a presentation regarding the history of the school, and then the party will continue at the Delhi German home at 5 p.m. for a dinner and dance.
High said she is excited to get everyone together, especially given her history with the school.
After studying to become a teacher herself, High travelled between schools, stopping at Valley for some substitute positions, before stopping in permanently as the principal five years ago.
Former Bears, either staff or students, that want to attend the event can purchase tickets at vhssalumni.com.
