A month long food drive by the Port Dover Lions was a very successful one.
The Lions surpassed their $40,000 goal and collected over 2500 pounds of food for the Port Dover Lifeline food bank.
They note that a $25,000 personal donation by Julie and Scott Biddle put them over the top when it came to cash and noted support from Lakewood Elementary School students with the food drive.
