The members of the Simcoe Seniors Centre finally feel like they’re settling into their new space.
Back in late 2020 the county announced the group would be moving from the former location on Pond Street to the Simcoe Recreation Centre.
Because of the pandemic, re-opening in the new location has been tough.
That was Rob Clouston, president of the centre.
The group is staying optimistic.
Clouston said the new building doesn’t have the same feeling as the old one, but they knew it was time to move.
The grand opening of the new location was in October of 2021.
Membership for the year is $40.
