Doors are opening for adults with developmental disabilities.
Open Doors, a new adult day program, is gearing up to welcome people into their facility.
Co-owners Heather Nunn and Kendra Pilon have created services where they saw a need.
That was Pilon.
Nunn was looking for something outside of supported living, that still provided full time support.
The pair decided to create that programming themselves.
Pilon also outlined their mission statement for the business.
The space is located at 56 South Drive in Simcoe. They are hosting open houses on February 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and again on Feb. 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
