The Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show returns today, after taking a year off in 2020, bringing back some of your favourites.
Of course it wouldn’t be the fair without Bandaloni, the one man band.
Sadly, COVID-19 means some traditions will not continue.
While today is still Young Canada Day, and students get in for free, it will still be at least another year until our high schoolers can hear this again.
No high school competitions will take place on the track this year with screaming fans in attendance.
Thankfully, animals, vendors, food, and rides are all there with spacing requirements in place.
Kids looking to get tickets or a ride bracelet, they go on sale this morning at 9 a.m.
Those bracelets will let kid go on as many rides as they like until 6 p.m.
For parents and caregivers going along, or older teens, if you want to enter the buildings, there are masking rules for indoor settings and you will need to get a wrist band to prove you have been double vaccinated before entering.
There are tents set up at the fair in order to get these wristbands.
