Rob Clouston isn’t kidding when he says we really do have something for everyone.
As president of the Simcoe Seniors’ Centre board, he’s excited about the lineup of programs and activities available this fall for seniors.
For starters, there’s walking, dancing, darts, pool/snooker, knitting, yoga and scrapbooking.
He advises the move to the Simcoe Recreation Centre in February has allowed the senior’s centre to do more for members.
Registration for programming geared to residents 50 and over takes place today and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Simcoe Recreation Centre parking lot.
Membership for the year is $40. Members will be asked to prove they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
If you are personally unable to attend one of the registration events, you can send someone to register for you with your vaccination information, or wait until they are officially open to register.
Grand opening is expected Monday, October 18, at 9 a.m.
