In her rookie season at Flamboro Speedway, Megan Mitchell is not only being flagged with a shot at class points champion – along with co-driver and brother Chase – she’s also in the running for Rookie of the Year honours.
Mitchell explains it is her dad and his exploits at Cayuga Speedway who inspired her to follow in his footsteps in the MRC Racing #73 Purestock car.
The Early Childhood Educator by trade, she is thrilled to see where this journey is taking her.
She has also garnered praise as an ambassador for the Lift The Visor mental health initiative.
Her mission is to create the safest and most supportive racetrack pit area in the motorsports community.
