Residents in Ontario continue to be victims of fraud.
Since the end of Fraud Prevention month in March, police have received a number of calls about scams.
OPP Inspector Krista Miller says many people in the province have lost a lot of money as a result.
Miller says more and more of frauds are being committed by more sophisticated methods.
Miller says people need to continue doing their due diligence and verifying the information.
She says those committing the fraud will continue looking for potential victims as long as they are making money from it.
