Another day of more recoveries than new cases in Haldimand Norfolk.
The health unit reported 16 new cases and 23 recoveries on Friday. This brings the local active case count down to 225.
Thursday’s report did not include a location breakdown. The numbers shown today reflect two days worth of changes.
New cases were reported in Caledonia (5), Dunnville (3), Hagersville (2), Cayuga (5), Jarvis (1), Simcoe (6), Waterford (4), Port Dover (1), and Delhi (4).
On the vaccine end, 42,846 doses have been administered in the area, with 4,994 people having a full vaccine series.

VACCINES
– 47,945 doses of the vaccine have been received from the ministry.
- 42,846 doses, or 89.4 per cent, have been administered.
- 4,994 individuals in the area have completed their vaccine series.
- There are currently two mass community clinics, two mobile clinics, 18 physician office clinics, and one hospital hub distributing the vaccines.
- The health district is currently in Phase 2 of the vaccination rollout.
